Wind tunnel facilities AT SKYVENTURE MONTREAL Registration will be held in the main lobby where we have 5 modern computer terminals hooked to the same network and a customized system that will be used to process registrations, accounting tasks, track and process information, create databases and conduct other administrative tasks as required. Our large conference room and classroom will be made available to the judges’ panels for the duration of the event including before and during competition. The building is equipped with 5 private unisex public toilets (3 on the first floor and 2 on the second floor), a water fountain as well as a fridge filled with various beverages available for purchase. Water bottles will also be provided to the athletes and included in the registration fees. COMPETITORS’ LOUNGE Competitors, delegation members and accompanying persons will have access to a venue located about 15 meters away from SkyVenture Montreal. The purpose of this venue is to provide a space where people can eat, relax, socialize and watch the competition from a distance on large TV screens, which will show: -

the internet Live stream; the current rankings and video recaps generated InTime scoring system.

Wifi will also be provided. CREEPING AREA A large heated tent will be set up in SkyVenture Montreal’s parking lot for creeping, meetings and preparation purposes only. Athletes will also be able to store their equipment in that area. CENTROPOLIS SkyVenture Montréal is located in Centropolis, a large shopping area in which many restaurants, markets and food shops can be found in the event that athletes wish to purchase their own food. CLOSING AND OPENING CEREMONIES SkyVenture Montréal will rent and/or reserve space at off-site facilities to hold the opening and closing ceremonies, a banquet and other social events or gatherings. Off-site spaces for Closing and Opening ceremonies will all be within walking distance from our facilities. 7

Wind tunnel details SkyVenture Montréal is a privately owned, state-of-the-art and modern indoor skydiving facility which uses licensed technology developed by SkyVenture LLC, the leading manufacturer of 8

wind tunnels worldwide. SkyVenture Montréal’s wind tunnel has a height of 45 feet and a 14-foot diameter glass flight chamber with SkyVenture’s patented wall-to-wall airflow. The flight chamber is round and its glass part reaches 2.5 meters in height. Additionally, four 350-horsepower motors recirculate wind at speeds of up to 275 km/h (170 mph). Wind can therefore be adjusted to any requirements of each discipline. Our technology allows us to control the tunnel temperature regardless of external conditions. We guarantee that our tunnel is always comfortable to fly in. Our wind tunnel requires our ante-chamber door to be closed for flying and we must open / close them to let competitors in and out of the ante-chamber. 8

Pre event training Teams who arrive before the competition and would like to train at SkyVenture Montréal will be able to purchase 60-minute blocks of time at a rate of $825.60 CAD including taxes. The tunnel will be available for all competitors starting on October 9, 2017. The minimum time that can be bought is a 15-minute block.

They reflect FAI's determination to ensure that there is no doping in air sports. Athletes accept these rules as a condition of participation in air sports. Anti-Doping programmes seek to preserve what is intrinsically valuable about sport. This intrinsic value is sometimes referred to as "the spirit of sport". This spirit of sport is characterized by such positive elements as: 17

Ethics, fair play and honesty Respect for rules and laws Respect for self and other participants Teamwork Dedication and commitment Courage Community and solidarity Health Excellence in performance Character and education Excitement and pleasure Doping is fundamentally contrary to the spirit of sport.
