he Alltech Young Scientist Award was created to promote research and develop talent among university students from around the world. These students are encouraged to join the company in the search for natural solutions in animal production, while also gaining valuable experience with a global leader in the industry. Alltech is one of the world’s leading animal health companies, providing natural, nutritional solutions to challenges facing the animal production industry. Since the company’s founding in 1980, Alltech’s research has served as a direct link between the industry and over 80 universities around the world. Together, Alltech and the academic community have developed a number of solutions for the food and feed industries — solutions that are healthy, practical and profitable.
