Stewardship Focus Every week amazing things happen in and through the ministries of White Plains UMC. Your faithful giving provided 5 families (8 adults, 5 children and 2 infants) a comfortable safe place to sleep, delicious food to eat and the gift of unconditional love this past week through Family Promise. We had two brand new families to the program. One of the families included a mom, dad, four children ages 2, 5, 13, 15, and the other family was a single mom with a 1 month old. Both families were overwhelmed with the love and delicious food. After a wonderful meal complete with desert the night before one little boy came in the next day and asked “what’s for desert tonight!” He was told, homemade strawberry shortcake. He said, “strawberry shortcake! Yummy!” and started dancing around. Thank you for making these families feel at “home”! Devices are available near the entrance of the Sanctuary for those needing assistance with hearing the service.

Thank you to the more than 50 people who participated in the "And the WORD came down" Scripture reading in the Sanctuary. Eleven different translations in 4 different languages were used. We started with Matthew 1:1 and read through 2 Timothy 2:26.
At the conclusion of worship, a Stephen Minister will be available for counsel and/or prayer at the left front corner of each worship space. Contact Information: 919-467-9394;
