The Prayer Team is organizing a Bible Reading in the Sanctuary on Friday June 1 and Saturday June 2. We will be reading from the New Testament in the Sanctuary on both days from 8am to 8pm. Once again, we are asking folks to sign up for 15-minute slots through the two days.

Reception June 3 is the last Sunday for Jenny Garrott who has done a wonderful job as our Coordinator of Youth Ministries. Jenny and her husband, Brian, are moving to Austin, Texas, this summer. There will be a reception in the courtyard area from 9:30am to 11:00am on that morning. Please come by and show your love and support to Jenny. The Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) is providing snacks and there will be a basket for a love offering.

June 3 will be Senior Recognition Sunday! On this day we will honor those students graduating from high school, college, and post-graduate studies during our morning worship services. The next senior adult outing is on July 11 to the cool IMAX theater at Marbles in Raleigh to see “Panda,” followed by lunch at the Cafe Luna. The bus will depart the church parking lot at 11am. Tickets to IMAX are $5.00 and lunch is on your own.
