Opportunities for Prayer and Action: From hurricanes to earthquakes to social upheaval at home and abroad, it is sometimes difficult to know how to plug in and transform our world for Christ, as we're called to do. Here are a few thoughts and suggestions: Thank you for what you've done. From the lives you have touched in our church and our community to the thousands of dollars raised for hurricane relief, take heart that you are already making a difference. Keep praying. Keep giving. UMCOR will continue to send funds and supplies to those impacted by the natural disasters. Our connected giving as a church makes it possible for 100% of donations to these disasters to go right to work, without being diverted for administrative costs.
