*OPENING PRAYER O God, in this time of waiting for the One who comes, draw us together that our praise and worship might not only be heard within these walls, but also in the lives we live every day. In this time of waiting give us ears to hear the messengers that are proclaiming Your word, spoken and sung. Equip us to reflect Your hope and joy in the brokenness around us. In this time of waiting prepare us to take the path that will lead us from the stable to walk in the light of Christ now and forever. Amen.
