Burgess/Donnelly Families ~ as they mourn the loss of Janice and Helen's dad who passed away recently. Alana Bruce ~ Now can stand and seems to be catching up to age markers. Continue to pray for healing. Hoover Family ~ as they mourn the recent loss of Marion who had been residing in LifeCare of Redbank. Stephen Springer's granddaughter Maya ~ has passed the 5 lb mark. Continue to pray as she grows. Prison Ministry ~ please find addresses on the Bulletin Board for fellow members in prison and encourage them by sending cards. We are looking for committed men and women with a passion for souls to be trained and mentored to minister to the forgotten ones who are in our local jails. Walking with Jesus Revival ~ beginning Feb 22nd with Jesus' Love for Man. Please continue to pray for our church and non-attending members during our 90 days of Prayer as we prepare for the Revival. LCA Heating/Cooling System ~ is needing to be replaced with a cost of $16,000. Fortunately full enrollment helps us cover expenses like this, but if you are able to give extra after tithing and supporting the church budget, donations are welcome.

Heaven's Bounty ~ The Southern Singles Ministry (a division of the Conf Church Ministries) is operating a food pantry in Apison. The pantry serves 30-40 families each day it's open. We are in need of helpers in the following areas: • Putting food away in bins before the clients arrive (3-4 hour blocks) • Pick up/delivery from Food City (2 hrs, 1x a week, Sunday – Friday) Contact Linda Fore 423/322-7206 to help with this important ministry. Area Announcements Delighting in the Almighty ~ Standifer Gap SDA Church invites everyone ages 8 or 9 and above on Sabbath, Jan 13 and 20, as they explore the joy-filled life of primitive godliness in practical terms. The services begin at 11 am and continue 1:30 – 3 pm. Free workbook to all who attend the afternoon meeting. Sunshine Bands ~ of music, ministry and friendship are welcome at The Lantern of Collegedale 2nd and 4th Sabbaths, 3 pm. The Sacred Harp singers ~ will meet today, Jan 13, from 3 to 5 pm at the Collegedale Church. They sing old-style hymn tunes a cappella from a hymnal called “The Sacred Harp,” the "harp" referring to the voice. Singers of any age and any ability are welcome to come and join in. This is not a performance group. Attention Men . . .and Women ~ all are invited to the 3rd annual Blueprint for Men Symposium at Hamilton Community Church on Sabbath, Jan 13, from 3-6 pm. The theme is ABBA: Dads by Design and will feature John Finch and his powerful documentary, The Father Effect. Collegedale Little League and Summer Softball ~ is swinging into action for a great 2018 season! Registration is open at cdalesoftball.com. New for 2018 – The older girls division is now two divisions: JV Girls (grades 6-8) and Senior Girls (grades 9-12). We are seeking coaches who are interested and willing to work with the youth in our community. The first coaches meeting is set for Sunday, Feb 11, at 5:00pm in Room 3145 at Hulsey Wellness Center. GCC Band & Strings Music Festival ~ GCA will host the annual conference-wide Elementary Band & Strings Music Festival on Feb 1-2. Student participants will have the opportunity to work with professional clinicians as well as interact with other student musicians during the two-day event. The event will culminate in a festival concert during Friday night vespers. Participation & accommodation is free of charge except meal costs.
