I am available for the following function(s): Anytime for anything Artistic Projects (bulletin boards, posters, murals and classroom support) Avid Tutor (supervise classroom group tutorials ensuring student participation and productive study session; specific topic knowledge not required and training provided) Beautification (school beautification and landscaping projects) Business Partnerships (donate or obtain incentives and donations from community businesses) Caring Community Hostess/Host (assist a specified teacher for class prep by completing copies, laminating, filing, etc. or in the Media Center helping students)

Chaperone (field trips, dances, etc.) Club Support (assist teacher with student clubs) Dragon Den Store (PBIS-Incentive program for students; serve as “cashier” and maintain account of inventory)

Evening Jobs (prefer to volunteer at off campus or after school hours)

Honor Roll Assemblies (assist at Honor Roll events during school day)

Media Center (shelving books, processing, organizing, creating bulletin boards, etc. or assisting students during homeroom with computer searches and completing assignments)

Mentor (become a mentor to a student) Music Department (transportation, concerts and competitions)

One Time Activities (Secretary’s Day, Science Fair, Yearbook, Fitness Testing, Vision and Hearing Testing, Book Fairs) PTSA (for fundraising events to support educational activities; meetings are monthly, every third Tuesday at 6:30 pm) Staff Appreciation (Assist chairperson with food donations, serving and clean-up) Store Program Affiliate (Help promote, collect, register and answer questions on Giant, Target, Safeway and other school benefit purchase programs)

Translator (translate forms and website sections into Spanish)

Grant Writer (Fill out and track grant applications to directly benefit departments in our school and the green spaces around our school.) Please complete this form along with the volunteer video form after viewing the required video on Sexual Harassment and Child Abuse. This 11 minute video can be viewed online. You can go to AACPS.org click on Parents, go to School/Family Partnerships, and click on Support to Schools and Volunteer Information. Follow the prompts. Volunteers wishing to chaperone must complete an additional form to allow permission for a background check.
