Department of Mathematics Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur ADVERTISEMENT – JRF in Mathematics Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work on contract as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a period of three years to work under the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Department of Atomic Energy sponsored research project entitled “Newton type Iterative regularization methods for nonlinear ill-posed operator equations” under Dr. Pallavi Mahale, Assistant Professor in Mathematics.
Eligibility: Candidates are expected to have post graduate degree in Mathematics with first class (or at least CGPA 6.75) and a good academic background with sound knowledge in Functional analysis and Operator

Theory as well as knowledge in programming languages such as FORTRAN/C++/MATLAB. Candidate must have qualified NET/CSIR-UGC JRF/GATE in Mathematics.
Fellowship: Emoluments per month for first 2 years
