Objective is to focus on green ship design and study the usage of sail to propel the passenger vessel A 10.8m catamaran is designed and it’s hydrostatics and stability analysis is performed using the NAPA software A detailed structural design using DNV classification rules has been done Presented a thesis report on the project which includes the study of function of sail and it’s alignment for the propulsion of the boat
