Board Meetings: (Note: These board meeting are open to everyone) Our monthly board meeting are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month except for March and July. The Board Meeting are held in the club house at the range and starts at 6:00 PM The Annual Board Meeting where we elect our officers is held on the 1st Saturday of March in the club house at the range starting at 6:00 PM. There is no Board Meeting in July.

Hours of Operations: The range is open every day, including holidays, to Members only. Our Hours of Operation is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Schedule Events: All schedule events are open to the public as long as the pay a $5.00 guest fee. Here below are permanent scheduled events. All members must maintain current membership with the National Rifle Association to be a member of the Vancouver Rifle and Pistol Club All basic firearms safety rules are to be followed, including while transporting firearms in and out of the range. • Treat all firearms as if they are loaded • Always point the muzzle in a safe direction • Keep actions open or firearm cased or holstered when not in use Rules of the range: • All shooters must wear eye and ear protection • Junior shooters (under age 18) must be directly supervised by a current member • No alcohol or persons under the influence of alcohol/drugs are allowed on club property • Everyone must sign in the sign-in sheet, whether or not they are shooting • All Guests (except juniors, under age18) must pay $5.00 per session to shoot Rules on the firing line: • Muzzles must be pointed down range • All firearms must be un-holstered, unloaded, magazines detached with the muzzle pointing down range before going forward of the firing line • Do not touch any firearm while people are forward of the firing line • Do not shoot at any target that is not directly in your firing lane • All bullets must impact the bullet trap portion of the backstop • You cannot shoot any closer than 15 feet to the target hangers. There is a yellow line down on the range floor that you CAN NOT go beyond to shoot. • Maximum Distance is 50 feet. You CAN NOT be further away than the red line on the range floor Here is what is allowed to be shot at the range: • No armor piercing or incendiary ammunition! (NOTE: This include Steel tip and Steel Core ammo) • Firearms (including center fire rifles) chambered for the hand gun cartridges listed below, provided their muzzle energy does not exceed 800ft/lbs. Allowed Hand Gun Cartridges 22 short, 22 long, 22 long rifle, 22 mag rimfire, 25acp, 25 naa, 30 mauser, 30 luger, 32acp, 32/20, 32 s& w, 32 h&r magnum, 32 naa, 7.62 x 25mm, 30 carbine, 380 acp, 9mm luger, 38 s&w, 38 super, 357 sig, 38 special, 38 short colt, 38 long colt, 357 magnum, 38/40 win, 9mm makarov, 40 s&w, 10mm auto, 400 corbon, 41 ae, 41 magnum, 44 russian, 44 special, 44 magnum, 44 s& w american, 44/40 win, 45 gap, 45 auto rim, 45 acp, 45 colt, 45 Shofield NOTE: Petitions to revise can be made to the Board of Directors. Approved on: November 10, 2015 Responsibilities of the last shooter are: • Take or throw away all targets • Turn off all fans • Turn off all lights • Lock the door and gate when leaving I understand these duties, tasks, and responsibilities of being a member of the Vancouver Rifle and Pistol club. I promise to enforce and uphold all club rules and policies. It is my duty as a club member to report to a Board Member any violations or incidents of members not enforcing or following the safety rules. While in the club, I will use my judgment for those situations that are not clearly defined so as to preserve the safety of all. By agreeing to the rules and regulations, the Vancouver and Rifle and Pistol Club will issue me a key to the club so I may use the club facilities for my personal use during times when the club is not being used for scheduled shooting events. I understand that I may bring a guest, with a maximum of two (2) at any one time, who may use the club with me. It is my responsibility to ensure that my guest(s) abide by the rules of the club. My guest(s) will sign the registration book, comply with all safety rules, and pay the $5.00 guest fee. Should I fail to perform the duties with which I am charged as a member of the Vancouver Rifle and Pistol Club, I understand that the Vancouver Rifle and Pistol Club Board of Directors have the authority to revoke my membership status, at which time I must surrender my key to the club as well as my membership card. My future membership status will be denied unless the Board provides its consent.
