UTAH WOMEN’S WALK NOMINATES SNELL & WILMER ATTORNEY BEN WELCH TO ADVISORY BOARD OF DIRECTORS SALT LAKE CITY (June 2, 2016) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce attorney Ben T. Welch has been nominated to serve on the advisory board of directors for the Utah Women’s Walk. The purpose of the Utah Women's Walk is to recognize and show gratitude for the lives of notable women who have made significant contributions to life in the state of Utah over the past 150 years. The intention is to educate the public about the remarkable lives of Utah women and to uplift, inspire and motivate other women to reach for their highest potential. The Utah Women's Walk is also meant to encourage appreciation for the variety of work in which Utah women are engaged and to demonstrate the cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in our state. The Utah Women’s Walk project will be displayed in a garden walk exhibit featuring sculpture and recorded stories of the women's lives at Thanksgiving Point in the spring of 2017.

Ben Welch
