TZ PTO Meeting Minutes, Thursday, November 3, 2017 Those in attendance: Angela Huff, Jon Strube, Beth Evans and Erin Confer-Staggers

Call to Order-6:00 p.m.

II. Minutes A. Approval of minutes—approved as read. III. Treasurer’s Report – Jana Boggess A. General Ledger Update (Checking & Savings) Checking balance: $11,177 and Savings balance: $1,611.00 The outstanding bills will bring the checking balance to around $2,800. IV. Committee Reports A. Restaurant Nights – Heather Grable  Nov 22 @Anthony’s 5-9  Dec 12 @Pizza King 4-10 B. Box Tops – Dayna Timcheck C. Fall Fundraiser - Melanie Welker D. Kroger Cards/Scripp Cards– Brian Cox will pick up cardsFriday, November 4th E. Men’s Group – Brian Cox—seeking help for science portion of family night from dad’s group during chili supper F. Fitness Fanatics – Michelle Reece ordered supplies, 138 laps and 3,000 miles so far. Found a bracelet that is $.06/each, so 1500 woud be $90 to use over the next three years. It was volted to approve the bracelets. G. Teacher Appreciation – Melanie Welker H. Spirit Wear – Angela Huff We sold $1,500 making $650 profit. I. Texas Roadhouse Rolls – Mary Duncan (10/26-11/7 – pickup @family night)

VI. Old Business A. Fall Harvest Party/Room Parents-it was clarified that if parents take photos and post them, they may only tag their own child. The issue of some parents not having a background check on file was discussed because some were turned away for the Fall Harvest parties as trying to figure out how to manage when they expire. Pod parties are suggested for the Valentine’s Day parties instead of just individual parties. B. Fall Family Night 5-7 p.m.  Chili Supper (Beth Evans)  Science Event (Chelle Hendershot)—needs old junk  Book Fair (Suzanne Funk & Shianna Mendenhall)-is all set up Silent Auction Baskets  Silent Auction Baskets will be a raffle instead of a silent auction potentially because of lack of items to go into the baskets. Angela will decide when it is time to make the baskets which decision to go with. C. Santa Shop (Jamey Landry)-Dec 1 and 2, set up. Tear down on the 9th. We will do volunteers via electronic sign up.
