"The Appointing Authority/Selection Board or Committee is empowered to appoint/select tribals living in forest area irrespective of their educational qualifications and physical standards including relaxation of age limit in exceptional cases. Suchselection will be limited for postings to a locality/localities where the candidate/candidates have exceptional knowledge of the local forest eco-system and their transfer to other areas will be considered only when they earn knowledge of such other areas".
