When we return a portion of our financial blessings to God through our tithes and offerings, we invest in God’s ministry and mission, and we create an opportunity for God to work through us and through our church. This card represents a tangible opportunity to worship and serve God through generosity.

Commitment Weekend is November 10/11 We will present our annual giving commitments during worship services November 10 and 11, but you may return your card at any time by placing it in the offering plate or mailing it to the church office. You can also complete a commitment card online [cor.org/commitment] beginning Nov. 5.

We ask that everyone return a commitment card, even if you can only make a limited financial commitment at this time. GIVING OPTIONS • Cash or Check Please make sure you identify yourself on the envelope or your check so Resurrection can provide a record for tax purposes. Your gifts can be placed in the weekly worship offering plate (envelopes are provided in the seat backs or attendance notebooks) or they may be mailed to The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave., Leawood KS 66224. Two Electronic Giving Options are available, EFT or Resurrection Access. These are the easiest, most cost-effective giving options for both you and the church. • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) With Electronic Funds Transfer, you can reinforce your commitment to give your tithes and offerings to God first, before anything else. One easy step each year guarantees that the church will receive your gifts on a regular basis, even if you are out of town or forget one week. To establish an electronic funds transfer, you will need to complete a commitment card authorizing the EFT and attach a voided check for the account you will use. If you have used EFT in 2012, your current commitment will continue unless you submit a commitment card with a new amount or contact the Finance Department at 913-232-4118. • Resurrection Access Online Giving Resurrection Access is a convenient, secure online system for debit card or credit card contributions. For recurring contributions, Resurrection Access will charge your card on the day/frenquency you select. To use Resurrection Access, you will first need to set up a login account or use your existing account. Detailed directions are available on the website: www.cor.org/rezaccess or contact the Finance Department at 913-544-0778. The Resurrection Foundation helps support the future needs of our church through planned giving opportnities.
