I can definitely make it Wednesdays, and as long as the long distance races are on the weekends I can definitely make those too :) Have worked on powerboats for 20 years and would like to learn more about sailing. I am a hard worker and i am eager to get on the water again. I'm a firefighter/EMT, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Looking for experience and fun. Wanting to buy my own 30'+ sailboat sometime in the next couple years. Interested in learning and the competition. Have sailed a Pearson for 8-10 years Experienced laser sailor, missing my laser. Might be buying a new one sometime, but until then I'd love to get out on the water any way possible. Raced lasers growing up, recruited to sail at the Naval Academy, coached radials at Pensacola yacht club. I've also sailed quite a few other dinghies from time to time as well as J-22s and 24s, various PHRF, and one Newport-Bermuda race, but dinghies are where my real experience is. I am located down on Whidbey Island so making it up on weeknights after work would be tough, but if you need a crew for a weekend regatta let me know. I sailed quite a bit in 12-14 foot dinghys (Lasers, mostly) when I was in college in California. Even did a little informal racing. I loved it, and would like to get back into the sport. Relatively new to sailing but have completed my bareboat charter certification and am eager to learn more and crew for an experienced skipper. I think racing sounds like a lot of fun and I am really excited to get out on the water if there is anyone looking for an extra pair of hands. I learned to sail on a 54' ketch on the Great Lakes. I've taken a number of sailing courses, ranging from dinghy up to skippering a 30' footer. Coastal navigation also. Had a little 27' sloop in Hawaii for a couple of years. But, the last time I sailed was about 6 years ago. I feel out of practice, though I get out on the water frequently in my touring kayak. I have a fairly flexible schedule with a bit of notice. I can crew weekdays, weekends, long distance/away etc. Just moved to B'ham from Port Townsend where I crewed for the last year on a 31' Irwin weekly races. Hello, I am interested in getting some off shore sailing experience. I would like to crew for your cruise or delivery along our coast. If you need help sailing to Portland, OR or San Francisco or Juneau, AK I would love to be of service. I would be available primarily in the summer months because I am a part time instructor of atmospheric science, but dates outside of summer may be possible too. I am a strong, healthy male 45 years old with extensive sailing experience. For the last few years I have been occasional crew in local Puget Sound races on ‘Snake oil’ a Tripp 40 and ‘Eye Candy’ a Farr 395 owned by James Marta. We have won many races and finished in the top three most every race. I have crewed in most every position on the boat but mostly I have been at the mast. I have been in multi-day races and I have been in a very rough broach in which the skipper was thrown overboard and had to be rescued by his crew. I have been sailing and racing small boats for 12 years. I have a Chrysler Buccaneer 18 that I have raced in most of the Pacific Northwestern inland waters. In the last 3 years I have raced and placed in the top three at Desert Regatta in the Tri-cities, Lake Chelan regatta, Dinghies Whidbey Island, Bellingham Bay one design and a few others. Most of my racing has been with the Southern Idaho Sailing Association in the very squirrelly winds of West central Idaho lakes. I have won many club races and the Payette Cup Regatta. I placed 7th in the Buccaneer (spinnaker) fleet in the Mission Bay One Design Regatta in San Diego (2006), and 2nd place in the Totally Dingy regatta in Richmond, CA on San Francisco Bay (2007), and Buccaneer North American Championship Regatta on Mission Bay (2009). I have crewed during races in many other small boats; C22, Mac 26, San Juan 24, and on San Francisco Bay on "Max" an Antrim 27. During the summer of 2007 I was crew on “Pleiades” a J 124 on Lake Tahoe every Wednesday evening. I was usually at the mast but also trimmed jib and spinnaker. We won first place in the Southern Crossing race off of South Lake Tahoe. I have chartered boats in the Gulf Islands of BC for a week, the San Juan Islands for a week, San Francisco Bay for a weekend, and out of Southwest Harbor, Maine for a few days. I have experienced a long ocean voyage as a Teacher at Sea on the NOAA research vessel "Miller Freeman" for a month on the Bering Sea. I recently finished my master’s degree in climatology from the University of Nevada, Reno. I have a strong grasp of weather and would be able to act as meteorologist for the trip. I have a BS degree in physics and am quite experienced at fixing things with limited resources. Interested in Dinghy racing/one design. I've only sailed small dingys and a couple small hobie cats but I'd love to learn about sailboat racing and get some experience on larger boats. Foredeck man aboard Tanzer 22. 5-year PHRF Fleet champs at Riverton Yacht Club in New Jersey and runner up at North American Tanzer 22 Championship I live in Pueblo, Colorado, but will be on vacation in Bellingham on Sunday and Monday, June 17-18th. I'm looking to experience sailing in the area. I have been sailing here in colorado for the last 6 years. Started sailing when I was 12 with the youth sailing program, raced here and there the rest of that summer, then sailed my family's FJ until about 2 years ago when it needed some work. Now that I'm a student at WWU, I quite frequently sail at their boathouse on the lake, mostly on the hobie cats as well as the Alphas and Lasers. I'm also rebuilding parts on my FJ in hopes that I can get it onto the water again this summer, and ultimately get back into racing with it. I'm very comfortable in most doublehanders, and ideally I'd like to crew for someone a few times to get back into the feel of racing, but I'm also a fast learner and would love to crew for keelboats again as well.

Hi, I grew up sailing on my dad's Santana 30 until the age of 14 when we had to sale the boat. As a kid I participated in SYC youth programs, and boy scout camps sailing dighnies. When I attended WWU I was at Lakewood sailing when ever time permitted. Last summer I crewed for a Thistle (Tenderoni) on Lake Washington. I'm now back in Bellingham and would like to crew on a keeled boat. However, I lack experience racing on a keeled boat. What I lack in racing experience will be made up for in an eagerness to perform tasks as commanded to the best of my ability, every time. I expect to start on the bottom, and will work hard to be a valued member of the team no matter what the position. If you need a strong grinder, I'm your guy. Raced for quite a few years with Marvin Wayne on Knight Rider (40' Davidson). Raced on ET (Swan 41), Gelzelig (Pearson 34), Cadillac Snapper (Davidson 44) and several others. Many Puget Sound races including overnighters, Pitch, Swiftsure (4 times) and many other series races. Drawback -- haven't sailed nor raced in about 10 years and am a bit rusty. Short period of retraining may be required but still strong, pretty agile and resourceful. I'll make a good hand once I get my sea legs under me again.

Hoping to get on a large PHRF boat for Wednesday nights and long distance. Anxious to be a part of a competitive and winning team again. . Any body need me?? I am a beginner, but athletic and a very quick learner. I have some basic familiarity with my dads Catalina from my teens, and also from small sailboats at camp as a kid.

I have been sailing/racing for 10 years, firstly in Toronto where I raced J24's on Lake Ontario and then in Connecticut on a Hunter 30 in Long Island Sound. I have also bare boat chartered in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. I would like to start racing again but can also crew for longer passages. I am very flexible with timing.

Out about 5 days in 2015 with lots more planned. Interested in racing to re-learn/hone sail trim skills, sail shaping, rig tuning and whatever else I can to get the most out of whatever boat I'm on. I know most of the sailing lingo but I'm not shy to speak up if something isn't clear to me and try not to let my ego keep me from learning.

My name is Stephan, and I'm pretty new to sailing. I thought this might be a good way to learn. I have some experience sailing on Lake Michigan on a rhodes 19. I'm pretty flexible on dates and times. I am a positive, fast learning, hard working, 6'1. 255lb, 51 yr old man who can still deadlift 405lbs, bench press 335lbs and Squat 315lbs. If you need a workhorse on your Crew and don't mind my lack of experience I will repay you by showing up ready and excited about being part of your team. Started in the Youth Sailing Program in 2005--acquired some racing experience then. Currently own an FJ and a Venture 15. Eventually looking to get back into dinghy racing as well, and building experience on a crew would make the learning curve (with respect to racing) as a dinghy helmsman smoother.
