Project—Fugitive Emissions and Mobile Sensors Wireless Sensor Network (WiSeNet) Integrated Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) Collaboration with EPA Research Question: How can we quantify emission rate from both mobile and stationary air pollution concentration data and meteorological field measurements? Responsibilities: Worked in field with EPA (measured Landfill emissions from with Tracer Correlation), Analyzed 5 years of landfill emission data from tracer correlation study, Developed Method Quality Indicators for Large-Area Source Tracer Correlation Method, Analyzed Dispersion Data from Oil and Gas Production Methane leaks, Developed Gaussian dispersion model to quantify source, Modeled dispersion of methane.

Project—National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) under grant 08-SC-NASA-1094 Research Question: What are the projected future changes in savanna ecosystems in sub-Saharan Africa based on IPCC predicted climate change scenarios?
