About Dr. Rahul Choudaha

Dr. Rahul Choudaha is principal researcher and CEO of DrEducation, a research and consulting firm specializing in datainformed international student enrollment strategies. He is a co-founder of interEDGE.org, a training and resource provider focusing on the inclusion and success of international students.
Previously, Choudaha worked for over seven years at World Education Services (WES) in New York City. As the Chief Knowledge Officer and Senior Director of Strategic Development, he led a team of 15 responsible for research, consulting, outreach, and strategic initiatives focused on international students and international enrollment professionals.
Choudaha regularly researches, speaks, blogs, and consults on international student mobility, enrollment strategies, and student success. He is a contributor to Asia Times, Forbes, Huffington Post, and University World News. He has presented over 100 sessions at professional conferences and has been frequently quoted in the global media. Choudaha ideated, convened and moderated a global webinar series with University World News which received over 4,000 registrations across four webinars. Choudaha has taught graduate courses on International Higher Education at New York University and Baruch College. He received the Tony Adams Award for Excellence from the European Association of International Education in recognition of his research on international student segments. He is serving as the guest editor of the special issue on International Student Success for The Journal of International Students. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Studies in International Education.
Choudaha holds a doctorate in higher education administration, a master’s in business management and a bachelor’s in electronics engineering.
