Next week we will work on elapsed time. We will have our next timed multiplication test on Wed., Mar. 1. It will be on the 7 facts.

Important Dates Feb. 28 – Six Flags Reading Logs due Mar. 1 – Book Report/Reading Log due

Reading: This week students took their theme test. Next week we Mar. 2 – Cernan Space Center Field will read Antarctic Ice and work on sequencing events and author’s Trip message. We will have the comprehension and vocabulary test on Friday, Mar. 3. Mar. 12 – 3rd Grade/Pre-K Family Mass Language Arts: This week we finished working on pronouns. Next week we will work on writing opinion papers. Mar. 23 – Parent/Teacher Conferences Science: This week students took their test on space. Next week we will be working on weather and climate. Religion: This week we discussed how we can show we care for others. Next week we will have a test on Chapter 7 on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Social Studies (Ms. Peterson): This week, students discussed how inventions cause change in many different areas. Next week, students will identify ways that ancient civilizations influence life today. Spelling: Next week, lesson 21 will work on words with oo. You may practice by visiting www.spellingcity.com. The lesson 21 test will be on Friday, Mar. 3.

Re-enrollment for the 2017-18 school year begins! Forms have been sent home to each family. Additional forms, including Pre-K3, are available online and in the school office.
