Homes & Hospitals Offering in May Throughout the month of May, we can help our neighbors across the state by giving generously to this annual offering. We can pray for and financially support the benevolence ministries of Baptist Children’s Homes of NC, Baptist Retirement Homes of NC, and NC Baptist Hospital. Every dollar we give will help hurting children, provide quality of life for deserving senior adults whose retirement funds have been exhausted, and assist families and patients who cannot afford to pay their hospital bills. Special envelopes will be available, or you can use the Homes & Hospital Offering envelope included in your box of regular envelopes.

Spring Fling! After the frustration of a longer-than-usual winter, I think everyone is ready to get out and enjoy the sun. If you find yourself tired of being stuck inside and ready to run around some, then I hope you’ll join the youth group after church on Sunday, May 6 as we get the spring kicked off - literally! We’ll be playing some kickball, and we want YOU to come join us! It’s a perfect opportunity for us to simply have fun together as children, youth, and adults who enjoy being together. So lace up your tennis shoes, throw that coat in the closet, and head out to the ball field! We will provide fried chicken for lunch. Just bring a side dish to share and yard chair, and let’s soak up some sun and have a great time!
Sunday, May 6 12:30pm Earnhardt Field (beside Clothes Closet & Food Pantry)
Members of Edenton Baptist Church,
Dear Edenton Baptist Church Congregation,
I would like to thank you for your generous donations to my Eagle Scout Project to support the NC Baptist Kennedy Children’s Home in Kinston, NC. I am humbled by the generous support of all the churches and people who contributed to my project. Your donations will go a long way in helping the children at the Kennedy Home. Both NC Baptist Children’s Homes and myself are extremely grateful for all you have done. Thanks again for helping me complete my Eagle Scout rank and for helping the children.
The beautiful hanging basket, greeting card, gift card and special recognition for Administrative Professionals Day was so wonderful, unexpected and thoughtful! I am so appreciative of your kindness and generosity. Thank you!
Love, Dylan White There is a photograph posted on the “Information” bulletin board of Dylan with items donated for his project.
Lorraine Bass EBC Family, Your unexpected recognition of my 20 years on staff means so much to me. The generous love offering was truly a well kept secret! I had no idea about any of it. The hanging basket is lovely. A constant reminder of the church family I love so much. With all of my heart, thank you. Janet Skinner
