Better Beginnings
Volunteer Morning Tea Wednesday 7th December 10am to 11am in the library. Every year we like to thank our wonderful school volunteers by holding a morning tea for them. If you have helped out at school this year please come along and enjoy a cuppa and cake with the staff. We appreciate all the support you give us by sharing your valuable time.

All parents/caregivers who complete the survey will go into the draw to win a set of 10 quality picture books worth over $200, and each completed survey will give your school an extra entry into the draw to win a 'Read Aloud' prize pack. School Banking KPS School Banking Competition for Term 4 To enter all you need to do is make a deposit at school banking 4 times in Term 4 and you will automatically go into the draw. There are 3 prizes which consist of 1 x $20 – which will be deposited into your school banking account with a Christmas theme. Prizes will be displayed at School Banking in the Library on Wednesdays 8.15am to 8.45am. Good luck to all our consistent school bankers!
Sharing a Hills Christmas There is a box outside the office ready for your donations. The items are getting collected on 14th December 2016 so please make sure you have placed your donations in the box before this date.
Community News
Kings Basketball Club is looking for girls to play basketball. Kings Basketball Club is looking for new girls to join basketball and are looking at starting new teams from Kalamunda Primary School. We have some current teams, but are looking at new teams in Under 10s, 12s. A number of girls from Kalamunda Primary School played State basketball and represented Australia. I am hoping to open re-establish the club and encourage girls to play basketball. You are welcome to have a try with no obligation! Season starts Monday 13 th February and finishes end of June.
