Dear Parents and Caregivers, Term two is nearly over with only a few days left to go. It has been a very busy term with too much happening in many people’s lives so I am sure a break will be welcome for most families. Next term will be here before we know it with all that it brings. Athletics and Edu Dance are two of the big ticket items. This week isn’t over yet however and our year sixes are probably pretty happy about that as they are on camp as we speak. Having been on camp for the last few years I can guarantee they are having a wonderful time. Lots to do and lots to see with plenty of time to unwind and share great experiences with their friends. It really is a time to be treasured and I am sure it will be. This coming holidays Andrew Osenton and the P&C are beginning the ground work on our stage two Nature Play! Andrew and Mandy Osenton have been working behind the scenes for the past eighteen months with a small group of dedicated people to do what they could while the leach works were being completed. Now finally they can get started on putting it all together and they need some help. Please check out the P&C Facebook page for more information about how you can be involved. I was talking to Andrew recently and he is passionate about building amazing play spaces for our children to enjoy for years to come. If the ‘anthill’ is any indication the children will love everything that is planned. By early next term work will be well and truly underway and we will finally be able to see what the middle playground will be transformed into. Very exciting.
