To be completed before any trials, competitions or gala days SPORT: SECONDARY TENNIS TEAMS EVENT DATE: THURSDAY 15 MARCH 2018 (BACK-UP THURSDAY 22 MARCH, 2018) VENUE: ACES TENNIS COURTS, FIGTREE (See Map Below) TRIAL CONVENER: ANDREW BROOKS (EDMUND RICE COLLEGE, WEST WOLLONGONG) PHONE CONTACT: ACES TENNIS COURTS – (02) 4228 6398 PROPOSED NUMBERS: 40 - 48 students combined for both the boys and girls 1 teacher convener, 1 team manager per team of 8 students, some parent supervision GENERAL INFORMATION/COMMENTS A teacher will convene the trial. Students are to ensure they have appropriate playing gear, sun protection where and a water bottle. Generally this teams event is for experienced players who regularly participate in the sport. ITEM/CONDITION Courts are maintained by the Aces Tennis.
Nets, gates, fences and umpire chairs maintained by the Aces Tennis Association. EMERGENCY FACILITIES E.G. A qualified first aid attendant to be in FIRST AID, ICE, PHONE – provision, attendance at the venue with related medical availability supplies and ice. AMENITIES – TOILETS, CANTEEN Aces Tennis club maintained facilities ETC. TAPS – access for hydration etc. Access and set up prior to arrival of students GATES / FENCES – access to Access to the courts via O’Briens Road, grounds by players & families, Figtree. Car parking is available in car park spectators adjacent to the Tennis Courts
