Community Group Questions: 1. Read Proverbs 7:1-5 as a group. Ask your group to share how they believe this passage applies to their life? 2. What does it mean to “guard my teachings as the apple of your eye… bind them on your fingers… write them on the tablet of your heart?” How do we do that? 3. What is godly purity? How do we get godly purity? Why does it matter if we have godly purity? 4. Read Matthew 5:8. What do you think it means that “they will see God?” 5. Why is taking time for reflection and confession such an important part of our purity? 6. Read 1 John 3:1-4. Have someone share a time in their life when they were struggling with sin? What was its impact on their life? How did God help them overcome it? How does that experience impact their life towards obedience to Christ or allowing sin to creep in? 7. Spend time in prayer for one another asking God to purify us from our sins and help us desire pure lives that only live for Him.
