Children Leading Our Children’s Ministry provides a solid foundation for children to grow spiritually, as they experience God’s love and learn what it means to live and serve by the example of Christ. We work alongside parents and families, believing the church and home collectively have a greater influence on a child’s life. Children who are active in our church remind us regularly to have a childlike faith. They are eager to learn, receptive to the Gospel, and full of excitement. They come each week asking to be the first to pray, read scripture, pick the worship song, or lead a small group of peers. They ask lots of questions, and seek wisdom to handle a hurting friendship or issues at school. They care and love and learn to forgive. We love children and all they represent in the life of our church. We invite you to join us in honoring them on Children’s Sunday next Sunday, May 6. Children are leading the 901 worship service, with special music provided by the children’s choir. Come witness our Children’s Ministry in action, and show your support for the next generation of leaders learning to go and make disciples. -Sarah Akins, Director Children Ministries

Congratulations to these three outstanding young leaders. Relay for Life Results THANK YOU for your generous support of the SFUMC Relay for Life team. It’s not too late to make a donation on-line at http://www. relayforlife.org/bullochga or to drop a check in the offering plate. Your participation truly makes a difference.
