Knights Youth Boys Basketball Camp 2018

On June 12th through June 15th , the Oakland-Craig varsity boys’ coaches will be hosting a youth basketball camp for any Oakland-Craig boys entering the 4th through 8th grades in the fall of 2018. It will be a camp designed to teach the fundamentals of the game, and will also provide an opportunity for the boys to experience some organized competition. There will be numerous games and competitions for the players to compete in as well. Character and sportsmanship will be stressed throughout the camp. Each participant will receive an O-C camp t-shirt.

What: Boys Youth Basketball Camp When: June 12th through June 15th, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm Where: Oakland-Craig New Gym Who: All Boys entering the 4th through 8th grade Why: To learn the fundamentals of basketball, to compete, to learn some concepts of team play, and to learn the fundamentals of man to man defense.

Please fill out and detach the entry form on the bottom of this page and return it with a $30 for 1st child and $20 for each thereafter (to Aaron Meyer) registration fee by June 1st. It would be very convenient for both you and I if these would be turned in before school, though. Registration will be accepted the week of the camp, but T-shirts won’t be available until the week after the camp. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at home (685-6791), or cell (936-1378). Parents are welcome to come and watch the camp. I do personally request that the kids arrive to the gym by 12:45 so they can warm up. Also, please pick up your child, or have them walk to a nearby location, as soon as the camp is over each day (3:30). I can’t leave until they do. Thanks!
