Louisa County Public Schools Strategic Plan 2015-2021 Introduction and Purpose: The Strategic Plan of Louisa County Public Schools 2015-2021 updates the previous 2009-2015 Strategic Plan. This update is a product of analyzing parent and teacher surveys, discussions with Superintendent’s Parent Advisory, Superintendent’s Employee Advisory Council, and school administration. This plan provides a framework for the continued progress and pursuit of academic achievement for all students.

Goal# 1 Achievement: Louisa County Public Schools will develop, advance and support academic programs which enable our students to become lifelong learners.

Objective 1: LCPS students will master foundational skills in reading, writing mathematics, science and social studies

Create a division wide system of interventions for struggling students. Provide training and support for teachers and administrators in analysis of data to drive decision making in instruction.

Continue to expand collaboration with VA-Tech Extension office and master gardeners, to expand school gardens and nutrition education in the classroom
