St. Patrick’s Day Singing Time Instructions Before primary begins have the following clues hidden: Have Clue #1 at the podium ready to read when you begin. Hide Clue #2 on the piano along with the first song card.

Hide Clue #3 in your primary cabinet, with the second song card. Hide Clue #4 at the Hymnbooks with third song card. Hide the fourth song card at the podium. When they have finished singing, reveal the poem with the pot of gold treats. (can be rolos or chocolate coins)

Begin by reading the opening poem. Send them on their journey with clue #1. When they get to the piano, sing the song. With this song, have a bag of assorted coins ready. Pick coins out of the bag as they sing and have them change how they sing. Then read clue #2. When they get to the primary cabinet, sing the song. Then read clue #3. When they get to the hymnbooks, sing the song. Then read clue #4. When they get to the podium sing the song. Then read the finisher’s poem and give them the pot of Gold treats.

The cabinet was dark so I moved out on foot, and over to where the songbooks are put.

These songs were nice, but I needed to walk where the children go up every week for a talk.

Our primary cabinet is “G” - you can change this.
