Consultation Document for the Proposed Attendance Boundary for the New Half Moon Bay South Catholic Elementary School Email Print Like

The Board received the memo and report entitled: “New Half Moon Bay South Catholic Elementary School Attendance Boundary Consultation Document.” The boundary proposal forms the basis for public comment. The St. Cecilia Catholic School Council and affected parents in the St. Cecilia School community will be advised that a public meeting will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at St. Cecilia at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of public consultation. Following the consultation process, a final decision will be made by the Board on the new attendance boundaries. The new school will open for Kindergarten to Grade 6 in September of 2016. Only families with students currently at St. Cecilia School will be affected by this process. St. Joseph High School attendance will not be affected. Simone Oliver, Superintendent of Student Success, Elementary explained that the programs are offered where a number of families have expressed interest. Early Learning staff monitors the fees across the city and the proposed increases are in line with the fees from other providers.
