“Step Up!” Stewardship Campaign is Underway Faith’s Stewardship and Finance Teams along with the Church Council invite you to support the “Step Up!” campaign to “RESTORE, REBUILD, REJOICE!” together as we approach our 50th anniversary. Now through January our focus will be to RESTORE the financial strength of our church. Where you are able, please consider increasing your giving, not only of your offerings but of your time and talents. This is a request for ongoing increased giving of both offerings and time. As we have taken on the care and maintenance of our Community Center facility our need for ongoing increased giving has become evident. Over the past 5 years we have depleted our reserves and even with a handful of donors making up the difference, we are still falling short of covering the cost of running our facility. Where you are able please consider a sustained increase in your giving. If you would like to sign up for regular online giving please contact Karen in the church office, [email protected] or 941-924-4664 x 214. “Step Up” To Fun! Everyone is invited to be part of Faith’s Community Outreach Activities. Please sign up as we begin to plan all the details for the following outreach events and activities: Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch, Garden Party, Silent Auction, Art Festival, Golf Tournament, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk, History Project. Sign up in Fellowship Hall or call the church office for more details.

Faith’s 50th Jubilee Planning Meetings If you are leading a subcommittee, please make plans to meet in July so progress in your area can be shared with everyone when we all meet in August. The next 50th planning meeting will be on August 4th at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for those who cannot make it during the day. If you won’t be in town but want to help, please call the church office and we can get you connected with a planning group and send you updates until you’re back in FL.
