Outdoor​ ​Education:​ ​this​ ​class​ ​is​ ​for​ ​those​ ​students​ ​who​ ​enjoy​ ​outdoor​ ​recreational​ ​activities​ ​that​ ​can​ ​be​ ​used​ ​throughout​ ​your​ ​lifetime.​ ​ ​Among​ ​the​ ​units​ ​in this​ ​class​ ​are​ ​Biking,​ ​Disc​ ​Golf,​ ​Curling,​ ​Archery,​ ​Fishing,​ ​Snorkeling/SCUBA​ ​and​ ​Paddle​ ​Sports​ ​(Kayaking​ ​&​ ​Canoeing). Strength​ ​Training​ ​&​ ​Conditioning:​ ​offers​ ​each​ ​student​ ​an​ ​opportunity​ ​to​ ​use​ ​various​ ​physical​ ​training​ ​techniques​ ​to​ ​increase​ ​overall​ ​fitness​ ​levels​ ​as​ ​you develop​ ​an​ ​individual​ ​workout​ ​program. Team​ ​Sports:​ ​students​ ​will​ ​participate​ ​in​ ​a​ ​variety​ ​of​ ​team​ ​sports.​ ​The​ ​following​ ​activities​ ​in​ ​this​ ​class​ ​include​ ​but​ ​are​ ​not​ ​limited,​ ​to​ ​flag​ ​football,​ ​Nerf games,​ ​Ultimate​ ​Frisbee,​ ​team​ ​handball,​ ​floor​ ​hockey,​ ​kickball,​ ​whiffle​ ​ball,​ ​softball,​ ​basketball​ ​&​ ​volleyball. Lifeguard​ ​Training:​​ ​is​ ​an​ ​American​ ​Red​ ​Cross​ ​(ARC)​ ​Lifeguard​ ​Training​ ​course​ ​that​ ​teaches​ ​lifeguard​ ​candidates​ ​the​ ​skills​ ​and​ ​knowledge​ ​need​ ​to​ ​prevent and​ ​respond​ ​to​ ​aquatic​ ​emergencies.​ ​To​ ​be​ ​eligible​ ​for​ ​this​ ​class​ ​students​ ​must​ ​complete​ ​PE9,​ ​must​ ​be​ ​15​ ​years​ ​of​ ​age​ ​and​ ​must​ ​pass​ ​the​ ​required​ ​pre-course swim​ ​test.
