SOME HISTORICAL fact OF Computer  Computer is an electronic device. Which takes input as a raw material then process under a set of instruction called program and give result as output. Output is save for future use.  Charles Babbage is known as father of computer because he developed a calculating device is called difference engine in the year 1882.  Babbage never made a fully functional difference engine and in 1883, he quite working on this machine to concentrate on the analytical engine.

 Analytical engine is the first general purpose programmable computer.  Lady Ada Lovelace helped to make analytical engine. She write a software program therefore she is known as the ‘first programmer’.  Babbage never completed analytical engine but his proposal for this device reviewed the basic elements of modern computer such as input/output, storage, processor and control unit.

In the process of development of automatic computer s, many scientists and engineers have made significant contribution: In 1904, Sir John Ambrose Fleming worked to develop the first thermionic valve, which is also known as vacuum tube. Vacuum tube is used for circuitry in first generation computer.  In 1906, Lee de Forest, an American inventor, introduced a third electrode into the diode (vacuum tube). Its ability to act as a switch created a tremendous impact on a digital computing.  In 1931, Vannevar Bush, an American electrical engineer, built the differential analyzer to solve the differential equation.
