Standings ● Standings at the end of the preliminary games will be determined by points, followed by goal differential. ● Points will be awarded as follows ○ 3 points for a win ○ 1 point for a tie ● In the event of a tied score at the end of a playoff game, there will be one 5 minute sudden death overtime, followed by a sudden death shoot out. Exceptions to FIFA Rules of Play FIFA rules of play apply with the following exceptions: ● The number of players on the field per team is 7 including the goalkeeper. ● Playing time consists of 2 halves of 25 minutes with a 5 minute half time break. ● Player substitutions take place on the fly. The player coming off must leave the field before the replacement player can come on. ● Kick-ins will be used instead of throw-ins. ● There are no offsides. ● Slide tackles are not permitted and will result in a direct free kick for the opposing team. ● In the event of a red card (whether a direct red or 2 yellows) being issued during a game, and the player being required to leave the field, that player’s team may not adjust their male/female ratio. In line with FIFA rules, a red card will result in suspension from the remainder of the current game and the following game. If a player receives 2 red cards, they will be expelled from the tournament.
