SNELL & WILMER NEVADA PARTNER JOHN DELIKANAKIS JOINS GOVERNOR SANDOVAL’S TRADE MISSION IN AUSTRALIA LAS VEGAS (July 29, 2016) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that John Delikanakis, an attorney in the firm’s Las Vegas office, will join Governor Sandoval and several Southern Nevada economic representatives in a 2016 Nevada Trade Delegation trip to Australia. The two-week trip, which includes participants from the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) and the City of Las Vegas, will last through August 6, 2016. Delikanakis currently serves as vice chairman of the LVGEA. The LVGEA and City of Las Vegas representatives will meet with Australian private industry leaders who are interested in pursuing or strengthening business ties in Southern Nevada, focusing on the areas of water technology commercialization, research and education, mining, tourism and gaming as well as unmanned vehicle technology. Jonas Peterson, President and CEO of the LVGEA and Patrick Sinnott, Business Development Manager of the Economic and Urban Development Department for the city of Las Vegas are among the representatives joining the group. Delikanakis is very active in the southern Nevada community. In addition to serving as the vice chairman of the LVGEA, he is also a member of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce’s board of trustees and currently serves on the advisory boards of the Salvation Army and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada. From 2003 to 2006, Delikanakis served on the Board of Governors of the Clark County Bar Association. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was recently named to Nevada Business Magazine’s Legal Elite as one of the top 100 Southern Nevada attorneys.
