KIND CUBS To promote kindness and ROAR behavior throughout the school day, we have started the Kind Cubs program. Students and staff are encouraged to fill out Kind Cub slips when they see others being kind or performing random acts of kindness. All slips will be turned into the office at the end of each week. Every Monday morning, Mrs. Lafferman and Mrs. Sweitzer will read a handful of these Kind Cub slips on the announcements and recognize some of the Kind Cubs we have here at Orchard Park!

Save your bread tags! Carmel High School senior, Danielle Rothchild, is President and Founder of Danielle Cares for Chairs. Her foundation collects bread tags to be recycled, and the proceeds are used to help those in need get mobility devices, such as wheelchairs. A raffle ticket will be given to each student for every 5 bread tags submitted. Raffle drawings will be held monthly. Bring those bread tags to school! Click here for more information on Danielle Cares for Chairs- https://daniellecaresforch.wixsite.com/ daniellecareforchair

Did you know that your child can earn a FREE ticket to a performance at the Center for Performing Arts, just by reading some books and filling out a form? Click here to access the form.

Mrs. Quakenbush would like to express her appreciation to the students who have joined the Birthday Book Club. They get to pick out a brand new hardcover book to take home for two weeks in honor of their birthday. Each book has a Birthday Book Plate acknowledging the student's name and birth date. Students can join at any time. Forms are available in the media center. With the $10 contribution included with the form, the media center is able to buy even more fantastic books for the students to enjoy. Please consider joining!
