• Cast on 28, 28 (32) sts on needle 4 with double strand baby wool. • Distribute the stitches on 3 needles. • Knit rib, K2 P2 for 6 cm. • Knit 9, 11 (13) rounds • The next round goes as follows: -Right mitten: 9, 9 (10) K, put the 5, 5 (6) next sts on a thread, cast on 5, 5 (6) sts, K to end of row. -Left mitten: 14, 14 (16) K, put the 5, 5 (6) next sts on a thread, cast on 5, 5 (6) sts, K to end of row. • Then K 15, 19 (23) rounds. • Next round: *take one sts of the needle, K1, slip the first stitch over the one you knitted. Then Knit 10, 10 (12) sts. K2tog.* This is repeated two times in one round. • The next rounds are identical to the previous only they have 2 less the sts between the deceases per round. • Continue until you have 4 sts left. Take the thread through remaining sts. • Thumb: 1. Pick up the 5, 5 (6) sts from thread. Pick up 7, 7 (8) more sts around the thumb hole. 2. Knit 11, 12 (14) round 3. On next round K 2 and 2 sts together. 4. Pull the thread through remaining stitches. • Secure all threads and use them to seal any gaps.
