Sir, Sub: Observations of the review meeting conducted with district anchor persons and Coordinators - Corrective measures requested on the points raised in the minutes - Requested-Regd. Ref: Minutes of the review meetings conducted with districts HD anchor persons and Coordinators. The minutes of the review meeting conducted with HD district anchor persons and coordinators by Director HD is here with enclosed. All the Project Directors are requested to go through the minutes and take corrective measures on the points raised in the minutes. In general, the following are the major common observations. 1) It is observed that the HDIF amount was not remitted into the VO accounts of the 43 Yanadi VOs in Nellore Dist till date. Discussed with DPM finance and instructed to immediately credit the amount to VO accounts and take up loaning immediately in a big way. 2) Mandal level HDIF is not utilized in any district satisfactorily. The HDIF balance at Mandal level is very high in Devipatnam. Only 6 VOs received @1 lakh per VO. Remaining amount is with MMS. When it was discussed at length, it was informed that the APM is not transferring the amount to VOs. 3) In Holagonda Rs.11.00 lakhs HDIF is in third party account (HARD NGO) and in Joopaadu Bungla Rs. 12.06 lakhs is still in third party account, with which they are supposed to construct 79 ISLs. Suggested to follow up with the concerned for recovery of HDIF. 4) In Ananthpuram still 88 VOs not received @1 lakh per VO in 8 mandals. All HD Coordinators are instructed immediately arrange to credit the amount to VO accounts and take up loaning immediately. 5) Mandal HD Coordinators expressed that they are unable to distribute HDIF due to lack of support from ACs and APMs. Teleconference was conducted with all APMs and ACs along with HD anchor persons and Coordinators and instructed the APMs and ACs to support HD Coordinators in disbursing the HDIF. 6) Immediately take up the entrepreneurship training with KVKS. 7) It is observed that the HDIF amount was disbursed to maximum of 40 percent only in majority district. 8) Though they established Nutri Gardens they are not able to explain the concepts of Nutri Gardens. In view of the above all the PDs/APDs are requested to personally review the HDIF subject/ staff regularly and issue instructions from time to time.
