 Paul’s letters were written by Paul.  Jesus was executed by the Romans.  Paul’s words were part of a creed.

3. Suppose a friend or co-worker informed you that they attended church this Easter for the first time in quite a while. They enjoyed the experience and their curiosity was sparked. But they say, “Come on how do you know Jesus is alive?” How could the following verses help you respond to them?

TAKING IT HOME: DIGGING IN: 1. The Easter story is familiar to most people. But it’s amazing how God’s Spirit can bring a fresh perspective or reminder to a text or Scripture we’ve heard before. Take a moment and read again the story of the resurrection in Matthew 28:1-10. What thoughts or observations come to mind as you read the story?

2. The Apostle Paul emphasized the importance of the resurrection to Christians when he wrote 1 Corinthians 15:17. What is the bottom line message he gives?

1. Following Jesus, the resurrected Son of God, is more than just believing his ideas. It involves believing IN HIM. What is the difference between following the ideas of Jesus and following Jesus as boss of your life?

2. How has your faith in God grown this Easter season? If it has not really grown, what could you do to feed your faith?
