Greetings from the Principal Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! We are so excited to have you here at the ECDC! This school year you will notice some changes to our faculty, so please help welcome: Elizabeth Lucido (Art), Cecilia Rich (Music), Letty Gomez (Parent Liaison) and Martha Martinez (Academic Tutor). The ECDC continues to be a school of choice because of our dual language program. Prior to the start of school, the teachers received training from Dr. Frank Lucido from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). We are very fortunate for our partnership with the university. Most important, the ECDC is a special school because of you-the parents. Here at the ECDC, we understand and value the importance of parental involvement so we invite you to partner with us in your child’s education. Buñuelos for Abuelos Let’s celebrate our grandparents, bring your grandparents to school Friday, September 9th from 7:30 a.m. – 8:05 a.m. and have Buñuelos and coffee with them in the ECDC cafeteria. Kids will enjoy milk or juice.

Fall Pictures Book Fair Begins 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Lunch Time Parents may begin having lunch starting on Monday, September 12th with your child/ children at their designated lunch time. There will be a Cafeteria Policies and Procedures form that will be sent home. Parents must complete this form and return to the front office so that we can keep in record. Any outside lunches must be dropped off 15 minutes prior to the child’s lunch shift. Lunch Schedule 2016-2017 PK3

Parking Permit

Parents will receive one parking permit per family valid until st December 31 . Make sure to request your permit from the front office. To replace your parking permit you will need to purchase one from the University police department.

Mexican Independence Day In observance of 16 de septiembre: Mexican Independence Day, students may dress in red, white and green or any attire native to their country.
