Thanks to all our members for electing me as you president for 2011/2012. I will do my very best to carry on the fine work that other presidents did before me. We have a great unit and with fine officers. Thanks to Bill, Paige, Cole, Debbie, Jean, Dot and Jack that have also been elected or appointed for serving with me. Devin, what can we say except thank you for your service and leadership last year. Please stay close will be calling you. Our unit Shenandoah Valley just came off a great rally. Our total membership worked very hard to plan one of the best Commonwealth Rally Debbie and I ever attended. A special thanks goes to Bill and Dot. A job well done. Attendees certainly got their $100.00 worth. Remember, the 2012 Region 3 Rally will be held April 22 through 29 at Oceanlake Campground, Myrtle Beach. If our unit wants to park as a group we will need a head count no later than January 8th 2012. Martha and Harold can arrange this but all the reservations have to go in at the same time directly to her. Let me know if you are planning to attend. Phil
Our 2011-2012 officers are listed in the left panel. Congratulations and welcome to all.
Please send in your 2012 dues to our Treasurer:

2011 Virginia Commonwealth Rally - - HUGE SUCCESS Even though a few sites offered nose leveling challenges, the Commonwealth Rally was hailed as a huge success.
BEST styled wheel ramps. Nice job Mary ! Several tours were planned. They were well attended and enjoyed by all.
The Civil War tour enlightened all who attended. Our Mystery Auction required Mary and her "entertaining" guest auctioneer to bridge between our two rooms of Airstreamers to keep the auction moving along. The elusive "Plus 1 dollar" bidder sat in the other room.

Rick did the honors of installing all the officers for the Virginia Units. This joint rally has really caught on with the Units of the Commonwealth and is likely to remain our standard installation festival.
Betsy, Lynne and the Boys band not only entertained our group, but enticed many to take a fling on the dance floor.
Saturday brought the flee market as well as a visit from HOKIE Personna. Arkansas State was no match for VT.

Bill led our Sunday devotional from two stories he'd read in "When God Winks at You" by Squire Rushnell. Publisher is Thomas Nelson.
Some early praying was captured, but answers arrive before needed and all aspects worked out just beautifully.
The unit gathered to go over future rallies and generally acknowledge that "WE'VE DONE IT AGAIN". Thanks for all your help and prayers!
