Roy Public Schools Senior Trip Policy In 7th grade students will be assigned a class advisor who will oversee all fundraising and planning of the senior trip as students go through the Jr. high and high school years. Please understand that this trip is a privilege and not a right. Students must meet the minimum standards set below to attend the Senior Trip. Each student must comply with all of the following criteria: 1. Students must actively participate in the majority of the fundraisers that are available to them. 2. Must graduate with the class they are attending trip with or be on track to do so if trip occurs before graduation. 3. If you had multiple infractions/referrals that resulted in more than one in-school and/ or out-of-school suspension in 7-12th grade you will have to appeal your travel to the board. The student, parent/guardian, and advisor will need to go in front of the school board at the beginning of the student’s senior year to grant clearance to go on the trip. If board grants approval then student is on probation until board approval of senior trip and departure. 4. No monies will be refunded to individual seniors who do not participate in the trip and or those who cannot participate in trip due to a violation of the requirements.
