Scenarios for AR in 2020 – a Live Webinar hosted by IEEE Augmented Reality (AR) is a very diverse domain, covering everything from entertainment and education to industrial applications. In collaboration with nearly 20 experts, the IEEE-SA has formulated a set of four scenarios for how AR might be integrated into the lives of citizens in the year 2020.

In this Webinar we will provide background on the process we used to develop the axes of risk and uncertainty along which these preliminary scenarios emerged. We will present these scenarios in which the actors use AR as part of their Big Data, Cloud-based information services. The IEEE-SA invites creative professionals and thought leaders to further developing the vignettes using collaborative platforms and workshops later this year. Strategic planners and business executives can then use the results to identify signposts that indicate the direction of AR in society and business, and respond with actions that mitigate risk and accelerate growth.     
