For the purpose of this policy they shall be collectively referred to as ancillary vehicles. The following policy outlines when those ancillary vehicles are to be used:
In general ancillary vehicles shall be used for all non-emergent service calls including box service, public assist calls, life safety inspections, and any other call or detail when a full-size apparatus is likely not required.
