Affected Model: All 2002 and 2003 90 ATV Models It has been brought to our attention that the compression specifications listed in the 2003 ATV Y-12 Youth Service Manual (p/n 2256-652) are incorrect. After further testing, Arctic Cat has verified that the compression specifications listed in Section 2, page 4 should be corrected to read 65-85 psi. Please make this change in your manual. The correct specifications will be included in a following edition. NOTE: Please be aware that when testing for engine compression, some pressure gauges may vary slightly. Also be aware that when testing an engine with low mileage, the compression may read on the low end due to the fact that the rings have not had time to seat.

Il est venu à notre attention que les spécifications de la compression inscrites dans le manuel de révision Jeunesse «Y-12» 2003 (n/p 2256-652) sont incorrectes. Après des épreuves plus approfondies, Arctic Cat a constaté que les spécifications de la compression inscrites à la section 2, page 4 devraient être corrigées et lire 65-85 psi. Veuillez faire ce changement dans votre manuel. Les spécifications correctes seront incluses dans la prochaine publication. REMARQUE: Soyez avisé que lorsqu’en faisant un test sur la compression du moteur, quelques jauges de pression peuvent légèrement variées. Soyez également avisé qu’en faisant un test sur un moteur avec un milage bas, la compression peut se lire à la baisse en raison du fait que les anneaux n’ont pas eu le temps de s’installer.
