In line with the mission of the Department of Education to provide adaptive and functional
learning resource system that effectively develop and distribute adequate and varied learning resources to teachers and learners from both the formal Basic Education and Alternative Learning System, the City Schools Division of Dasmarifias shall organize the Division Learning Resource Management and Development Team. 2.
This profiling aims to: •
Identify potential learning resource (LR) writers/developers, illustrators, graphic artists, content evaluators, learning area specialists/ content validator, language editors and other relevant skills necessary for an efficient, effective and functional Division LRMDS;
•
Organize a division pool of experts and skilled learning resource managers for the localization, development, or enhancement of existing DepEd learning resources which shall be called the Division Learning Resource Management and Development System (LRMDS) Team.
3. In this view, a profiling of potential learning resource managers and developers will be conducted from November 2 6, 2015. Education Program Supervisor of each Learning Area in -
coordination with Public Schools District Supervisor are requested to identify teachers and personnel from elementary and secondary schools who are potential learning resource developers ( writer, illustrator, graphic artist, language editor, etc.). Furthermore, School Head shall identify their respective Learning Resource Manager/Coordinator who will serve as the school focal person in the provision/access to quality instructional, learning and professional development materials in digital and non-digital format. 4.
Terms of reference of the Division LRMDS Team, the Potential Learning Resource
Developers/Experts Profile Sheet and the Designation Form of School LR Manager/Coordinator are enclosed in this memorandum.

Duties and Responsibilities: 1.
Strengthen learning resources development and distribution systems
2.
Lead in the assessment, acquisition, adaptation, development, production and distribution of teaching, learning and professional development materials to schools.
3.
Enhance provision of quality instructional and learning materials in all learning areas both in formal Basic Education, Open High School Program and Alternative Learning System.
4.
Localize existing DepEd learning resources.
5.
Modify and enhance instructional and learning materials for implementing Alternative Delivery Modes and Learning Systems.
6.
Improve the development and utilization of Quality Assurance (including Monitoring and Evaluation) systems for provision and utilization of learning resources.
7.
Digitize available student learning materials
8.
Develop ICT- enabled solutions, integrated with national systems, to support the strengthening of the learning resources support systems.
