RYE SCHOOL DISTRICT BUS ROUTES 2017-2018 NEWS RELEASE

The Rye School District, grades kindergarten through eight, will begin school on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. th

Registration for new students at Rye Elementary will be held the week of August 14 . Parents are invited to come to Rye Elementary during the hours of 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM to complete registration forms. Any new students are invited to attend an orientation session on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 9:00 AM for Rye Elementary School. Registration for new students at Rye Junior High is open throughout the summer recess. Please email Elizabeth at [email protected] for registration information. Any new students are invited to attend an orientation session on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM for Rye Junior High School. School hours for the Rye Elementary School will be 8:15 AM to 2:45 PM. Students may arrive after 8:00 AM. Rye Junior High School begins at 8:10 AM and students are dismissed at 2:50 PM. Information on bus transportation will be published in area newspapers. Students at Rye Elementary parent/student handbook will be available on line, if you require a hard copy please notify the school. Students at Rye Junior High will receive an agenda notebook with the parent/student handbook inside. This booklet provides an excellent overview of the programs, policies, and procedures at each school. Parents and students are encouraged to read this book carefully.
