Entry Fees & Entitlements: Adults $90 - 1 Ticket in major raffle draw plus Friday night BBQ, Saturday evening roast dinner, and Sunday BBQ lunch. Eligible for adult and Misc. categories plus other bonus draws throughout the competition. Juniors $30 – Eligible for under 18 and Misc. categories plus meals and bonus draws as above. Teams $15 extra – Teams to consist of 3 people of any combination ($5 per person). Compliance with appropriate regulations: All species caught must comply with NSW inland fishing regulations and must be caught on either fishing rods or hand lines. It is the responsibility of entrants to be fully aware of all NSW inland fishing regulations. It is the responsibility of all entrants to comply with NSW water ways regulations and any other relevant legislation including boat registration, licensing and safety equipment required on NSW waters. Anyone fishing with illegal equipment or bait or are in breach of any NSW fisheries regulations will immediately be disqualified from the event. The organisers reserve the right to inspect any equipment or bait used by the competitors. Anyone disqualified from the event will not have their entry fee refunded. Eligibility for prizes: The “Wakool Fishing Classic” is strictly a catch and release event for native fish categories. After official measurement, all native fish must be released in the presence of an official to be eligible for prizes. To reduce damage to fish it is recommended that all fish are held in live wells of sufficient size with good water quality rather than keeper nets. Fish must not be tethered. For more catch and release tips grab a copy of the ‘Improved Catch & Release Techniques’ brochure at registration. Any fish suspected of being caught outside of official fishing times and or zones will not be accepted as eligible for prizes. Fishing Times: Saturday 7.30am – 6.30pm and Sunday 7.30am – 11am. Protests: Any protest must be submitted in writing to the organisers accompanied by a fee of $25 no later than 11.30am Sunday the 26th of March. The organisers’ decision will be final. Acceptance: The organisers, may at any time before the commencement, or during the “Wakool Fishing Classic”, refuse to accept and or reject any entry, without assigning a reason. Competitors signature on the entry form indicates they understand all rules and regulations of which the “Wakool Fishing Classic” is run by and will abided by them at all times.
