Rotary Club of Vancouver Metro Sunset Meeting Minutes April 12, 2016 I.

Call to order David Commeree called to order the regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Vancouver Metro Sunset at 5:44 pm on April 12, 2016 at The Grant House.

II. R o l l c a l l Joseph Damiani conducted a roll call. The following persons were present: Kimberly Pincheira, Baine Wilson-Micheletti, Terry Sotta, Lyle Smith, David Commeree, Christian Schmidt, Burt Paynter, Lydia Frenzel and Joseph Damiani. III. Avenue of Service Reports a) President’s Report •

Sergeant-At-Arms – Christian Schmidt wants to stand in as Sergeant-AtArms when Jesse Harvey is unavailable. Christian suggested that we might want to rotate roles every week. The board was in favor of the suggestion.

b) Secretary Report •

Joseph Damiani has offered to move his 4-Way Test Competition funds of $225 towards the District Conference funds. The board has made a motion to amend the allocation of the funds and has been approved.

c) Treasurers Report •

Donor Advised Funds = $3,602

Prom Candidates = $10,922

d) Public Relations Committee – Prom coasters will be available the week of April 19th. e) Prom Updates – We need to email the DJ the past programs for a clear direction of events for the night. Need to confirm that the MC’s haven’t backed out of the prom. Decoration’s Committee Meeting will meet the following few weeks at 3:30 PM at The Grant House. Terry will send out an email to all the members for song suggestions. f) Youth Service Committee – Joseph Damiani has submitted the application and money to RYLA to send Erielle Lamb this summer. g) Officer Induction – Burt Paynter might be in charge of Roasting Rebecca Blaisedell. The location of the induction will be held at Mill Creek Pub in Battle Ground, WA. The raffle was voted by the board to repeat itself this coming induction. VI. Adjournment David Commeree adjourned the meeting at 6:29 pm.
