WHAT RHAC DOES RHAC is the leading Cambodian non-government organization delivering sexual and reproductive health information & services. Established in 1996, RHAC is a family planning pioneer, bringing the service to the doorsteps of Cambodian women and men through its wide network of community-based distribution workers. RHAC operates against the backdrop of: High youth population: over 1/3 is between 1024 years old; About one in eight women aged 15-19 has become a mother or is currently pregnant with her first child. Low contraceptive prevalence rate (39%). HIV prevalence among most-at-risk population is at 1.4% RHAC envisions that RHAC is a center of excellence for women and sexual reproductive health . .

REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF CAMBODIA RHAC contributes to improved health of women, men, and vulnerable groups (adolescents, factory workers, entertainment workers, LGBT, PLHIV, etc.) through our clinic networks, state-of-the art health promotion, and advocacy. RHAC works with clinic and public health experts, local community and marginalized groups, Royal Government of Cambodia, parliamentarians and other policy makers, and development partners.

Clinic Service Delivery: Manage and provide quality sexual and reproductive health services for the general population, and for vulnerable groups. Community Based Programs: Where people and technology come together. Promote community participation in enhancing maternal, newborn, and child health and responding to infectious disease such as TB and HIV/AIDS, RHAC works with: • Community volunteers/women groups • Peer educators of entertainment workers • Local communities, commune councils Behind RHAC’s community based program are committed staff and volunteers backed by state-of-the art technology and systems to help ensure highquality service and real time monitoring and evaluation of the quality of care they provide.

RHAC builds on our widespread recognition for our work with the vulnerable groups, young people, factory workers, and government agencies. Our long established connection with the community, like the Village Health Support Group, local authorities, and public health staff reaffirm RHAC’s role in community health. RHAC is actively pursuing the complete implementation of the Integrated Package of Essential Services in all our clinics, which would include: 1. Counselling 2. Contraception 3. Safe Abortion Care 4. STIs/RTIs 5. HIV 6. Gynecology 7. Prenatal Care 8. Gender-based violence
RHAC endeavors to expand to the following areas: • Provide and expand sexual and reproductive health services to migrants and factory workers. • Transform to social enterprise model that applies commercial strategies to achieve greater social impact and sustainability. • Extend and improve clinic capacity for new services on sexual and gender-based violence and abortion care. • Sustain the provision of comprehensive sexuality education to young people.
