Mettler has been elected to the Repertory Dance Theatre’s (RDT) Board of Trustees. RDT is the nation’s oldest and most successful repertory dance company. Unlike conventional modern dance organizations, RDT presents a diverse range of modern dance styles and choreographers paired together in dynamic and unexpected performances. She has second-chaired jury trials in both state and federal court and has argued appeals before the Utah Court of Appeals, the Utah Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit.
Mettler is currently serving on the Utah Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Procedure and is also the president-elect for the Utah Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Mettler received her A.B. from Princeton University, magna cum laude, and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif.
